NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. Canada is in the process, as the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022, Canada received 7,200 visitors and August saw 6,000.

"We aren't far off our record for 2019 and we are anticipating that the growth in travels to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling internationally."
In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year Israel has seen over 600,400 US travelers.
